BIO

Zeina Abi Assy is an award-winning curator, writer, designer and producer. She is the Head of Curation of the Mozilla Festival, a global event that aims to mobilize around AI, ethical technology, and human rights.

Previously, she was the Director of Interactive Programs at Tribeca Film Institute. She co-curated Tribeca Film Festival’s Interactive Day and Immersive Exhibition which showcased large scale installations and talks around the convergence of new technology and storytelling. She has consulted festivals and conferences in Europe and the SWANA region on themes related to technology, storytelling, and immersive media.

She teaches Design Writing and Thesis Writing at Pratt Institute.

Her writings have appeared in the printed anthologies: Arab Women Voice New Realities and We Call to the Eye & the Night
