International Documentary Film Festival of Amsterdam (IDFA)

Immersive Consultant, Advisor, selection committee

Future Earth Party

Creator, Curator, Producer
Sponsor: Google

For the celebratory event for the completion of the Google Lab, I designed a party that took place during Tribeca Film Festival, inspired by the theme of the program (5 elements of nature). The idea was that in order to celebrate immersive media, instead of hosting a cocktail, I wanted to immerse the festival audience in an experience (unlike most events on their calendars during Tribeca). Audiences received an invite with a specific category (and mood board) that they had to dress accordingly. The categories were: human, machine, supernatural, nature, space.

And for the night I curated an art installation by Smriti Keshari titled “AI Altar” and throughout the night, we had aerial dancers suspended through the ceiling reflected
on the altar. A commentary on AI, its inclusion in our lives as a higher technology,
and all the ways we aim to make it more human.

Tribeca VR Creator
YouTube Series

creative producer - Sponsor: YouTube

Part of the partnership with YouTube was to create a “VR Creator Series” as a channel for beginners, students, and newcomers to the space to learn about a new and growing industry. My role was the creative producer of this work: I hired a team to capture and edit the content, I curated the list of creators/professionals to be interviewed, and designed the interview experience.

A—B Partners >> New World

Director of Strategy

In 2020, I worked with A—B partners on a campaign to mobilize young brown and black voters to get them to the polls ahead of the 2020 election.

I primarily worked with the Million Voters Project (MVP), a California based voter engagement campaign led by a coalition of grassroots organizations, specifically focused on mobilizing and persuading voters of color, in coordination with a statewide field campaign. REP/CA (or Represent California), a new digital-first movement brand aimed to build power and fight cynicism among a multi-racial coalition of young people in the lead up to the 2020 election through a tiered communications strategy including: a $2m paid social and digital marketing campaign, an IG channel, influencer engagement and earned media strategy.

Pratt Institute

Adjunct professor: Design writing, thesis writing

I teach Design Writing and Thesis Writing in the MFA Communication Design program at Pratt, where I see my role as a facilitator. I guide students in developing their voice, perspective, and position as designers while introducing them to diverse research methodologies. A core focus of my teaching is helping them refine both their writing and creative practice as they work on their thesis, encouraging a critical lens that situates design within its broader cultural contexts.
